Design Services
Folk Camp is launching its Home Design Studio and we're excited to now be expanding these offerings. Our founder and Designer, located in remote Central Maine, focuses primarily on lake homes or lodges, historical farm or small town houses, and rustic camps or cottages found predominantly in this neck of the woods. Her experience lies in creating inviting coherent spaces that remain true to your home's genre, location, and lifestyle needs.
Recent projects fall generally into these categories and also represent what's most familiar to Central Maine. The coastal and southern regions of Maine garner the most attention so she's dedicated to this often overlooked Highland and Kennebec Valley area - where scenic mountains, lakes, and rivers abound - and where she's called home for the past 20 years.
FOR YEARS I'VE SERVED AS A USEFUL SOURCE TO THOSE SEEKING LIFESTYLE-INTERIOR INSPIRATION AND ADVICE.
Finally, after moving from the Dallas Metro and buying a Maine farm, I decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing and photographing my own farmhouse fix-ups and lifestyle meanderings that inevitably came back round to rustic, cozy and casual decor that includes an all important dollop of luxe. And yeah, you do need that dollop - a few of 'em in fact!
FOLK CAMP STUDIO WAS FOUNDED ON MY IDEA OF SOLVING WHILE EVOLVING. WE ALL CHANGE & OUR SPACES NEED TO SUPPORT THAT CHANGE.
My style melds a fetish for comfortable simplicity with an abundance of what I can only call each individual's personal panache. (Feel free to interpret that any way you want!) So enough about me. This isn't about me.

We're breaking into new territory, so I get that you may not have a clue, or just sort of a clue. Let's start by saying it's not a formula but generally focuses on the process of developing, growing, and evolving through life phases.
So from a quality of life perspective, it's crucial that our living spaces keep up with that process alongside us. My focus is to put direction to your ideas to get your living spaces feeling and functioning the way you want them to be feeling and functioning.
